Day School Week
Classes for 2, 3, 4-year-olds (PreK) and 5’s Kindergarten
Our school is licensed by the Department of Education. Our Kindergarten teacher teaches the same standards of Kingsport City Schools Kindergarten. With a small class size of 10 maximum, each child gets a lot of individualized instruction that meets their particular learning style.
Classes run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with exception of Kindergarten whose hours are 8:15 a.m. -12:45 p.m.
Each class features a curriculum based on developmentally appropriate activities, center-based play, and includes the following weekly resources: Chapel for 3 year-olds and up along with Tumbling and Soccer Shots for an additional fee.
Admittance
Children ages two to five are accepted for enrollment at St. Paul’s Day School & Kindergarten, without regard to gender, ethnic background, or religion. Children with physical or mental challenges may be enrolled when their needs can adequately be met by our staff and faculty. We also accept children ages two through eight during the summer day camp program.
Tuition
St. Paul’s Day School uses the Brightwheel Child Care App for attendance, communication, and tuition payments.
Parents use Brightwheel to check their child in and out each day. Teachers and staff may also use the app to share messages, updates, and photos with families.
The Director posts newsletters, menus, reminders, upcoming events, and schedule changes through Brightwheel.
Tuition Payments
Tuition statements are sent through Brightwheel on the first of each month. Payments may be made electronically through the app.
Families who prefer to pay by check may bring their payment to the Day School front office.
Child Care & Early Drop Off
St. Paul’s Day School & Kindergarten offers a full day childcare service to a limited number of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old children. Children enrolled in full day childcare may arrive as early as 7:30am. They attend day school classes from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., or Kindergarten from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., then remain for a hot lunch, rest, and afternoon activities. Childcare ends at 5:30 p.m.
